Susan Beth Furst is a Touchstone-Award nominated Japanese short-form poet and Children's picture book author. She's published three haiku collections: Souvenir Shop: Memories of the Highland Park Zoo, Road to Utopia, and Neon Snow. She also writes haibun, and "57" was chosen to appear in Old Song: The Red Moon Anthology of English-Language Haiku (2017). Susan's books for children include Humpty Dumpty Cracks and All, Electric Pink: A Christmas Haibun, and The Amazing Glass House: A Haiku Storybook. The Hole In My Haiku is now available (October 2020). Susan lives in Virginia with her husband Herb and a canary named Mozart.
